This contract applies to pet only sales. Any breeder rights require a separate Breeder Contract agreed upon in writing. By engaging with AquaMarine Kittens, you agree to be bound by these terms.

General Terms

1. Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a Pedigree Ragdoll/Cherubim.

2. This cat is purchased for pet only — NO BREEDING RIGHTS. The kitten is sold already altered (spayed/neutered) prior to placement.

3. The deposit is non-refundable for any reason other than the Breeder not being able to deliver the kitten. Delivery fees are NOT included in the purchase price.

4. If the Buyer transfers the cat to another owner, the Buyer agrees to notify and receive approval from the Seller prior to the transaction.

5. This contract is legally binding and non-transferable. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing.

6. Breach of this agreement will result in cancellation of all warranties. The Breeder’s maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer.

7. Breeder reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time prior to the kitten leaving the cattery. In that instance, the Buyer will be refunded 100% of their deposit.

Rehoming Policy

8. We deeply care about the lifelong well-being of every kitten we place. If at any point the Buyer is considering rehoming the cat, we strongly encourage that AquaMarine Kittens be the first to be notified. We are happy to assist in finding the cat a loving new home, or we will take the cat back ourselves. Any refund or partial compensation will be assessed at the sole discretion of the Breeder. No refund is guaranteed.

Health & Veterinary

9. The Breeder guarantees the kitten is healthy at the time of ownership transfer. Within 72 business hours of receiving the kitten, the Buyer has the option to take the kitten to a veterinarian for a health check. If the kitten is found unfit due to a congenital or hereditary disorder, Buyer may opt for:

  (a) Return the animal and receive a refund of the purchase price within 10 business days (excluding vet costs).

  (b) Return the animal and receive a replacement kitten of equivalent value from the next available litter.

Note: After 72 hours, Breeder cannot be held accountable for FeLV, FIV, FIP, or other infections contracted after leaving the cattery.

Health Guarantee

10. The cat has a 3-year warranty from the date of birth against specific genetic defects including HCM, PKD, MPS VI, PRA, Congenital Heart Defects, Portosystemic Liver Shunt, Severe Hip Dysplasia, Congenital Deafness, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and Severe Congenital GI Malformations. Also a 1-year guarantee against FIP. A necropsy report is required. Replacements are sourced from the next available litter; if unavailable within two consecutive litters, a full refund is issued.

Buyer Responsibilities

11. Purchasing a kitten makes the Buyer solely responsible for the health and well-being of the kitten from the day it arrives until the last day of its life.

12. Buyer agrees to keep vaccinations current, never allow the cat to roam freely outdoors, never place the cat in a laboratory or pet shop, and never declaw the cat under any circumstances. Declawing is a painful and permanently disabling procedure prohibited under this contract. Violation voids all warranties.

13. Purchaser will always provide a clean litter pan, fresh water, quality food, and suitable scratching posts.

Pickup & Boarding Policy

14. Kittens may leave the nursery starting at 12 weeks old and must be picked up or delivered by their 13-week birthday. After 13 weeks, a boarding fee of $15/day applies. The maximum boarding period is 30 days, after which all monies paid will be forfeited.

Cattery Closure Policy

15. In the unlikely event that AquaMarine Kittens permanently ceases operations prior to the Buyer receiving their kitten, the Buyer will be entitled to a full refund within 30 business days.
