The Ragdoll is a large, gentle breed known for going limp when held. Males typically reach 15–20 lbs and females 10–15 lbs, reaching full size around 4 years old. They are often called “puppy cats” for how closely they follow their people. Learn more about Ragdoll growth →
Absolutely! Ragdolls are one of the best cat breeds for families with children. Their patient, tolerant nature and docile temperament make them ideal companions for kids of all ages. Learn more about Ragdolls with other pets →

No cat is truly hypoallergenic, but some allergy sufferers tolerate Ragdolls better than other breeds. Learn more about Ragdolls and allergies →
A Cherubim is a Mink, Sepia, or Solid-colored Ragdoll officially recognized by TICA on May 1, 2025. Same size and temperament — the difference is richer coat color and stunning aqua or gold-green eyes instead of blue. Learn more about Ragdoll vs. Cherubim →
A Mink carries one copy of the Burmese gene. Unlike traditional Ragdolls, Mink kittens are born with their color already visible. Their coats are incredibly silky and they have gorgeous aqua-colored eyes. Learn more about Cherubim personality →
