Sales Contract

Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a Pedigree Ragdoll/Cherubim.

This cat is purchased for pet only — NO BREEDING RIGHTS. The kitten is sold already altered (spayed/neutered) prior to placement and is not to be used for breeding under any circumstances.

The deposit is non-refundable for any reason other than the Breeder not being able to deliver the kitten. Deposit will be applied toward the price of the kitten. Delivery fees are NOT included in the purchase price.

If the Buyer transfers the cat to another owner, the Buyer agrees to notify and receive approval from the Seller prior to the transaction.

This contract is legally binding to all parties involved and is non-transferable. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing and initialed by all parties.

Breach of this agreement will result in cancellation of all warranties. The Breeder's maximum liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer.

Breeder reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time prior to the kitten leaving the cattery if deemed in the best interest of the kitten. In that instance, the Buyer will be refunded 100% of their deposit.

The Breeder guarantees the kitten is healthy at the time of ownership transfer. Buyer must take the kitten to a veterinarian for a complete health check within 48 business hours (excluding weekends and holidays). If found unfit due to a congenital or hereditary disorder, Buyer may opt for:

The cat has a 3-year warranty from the date of birth (or until the Cattery closes, whichever comes first) against the specific genetic defects listed below. If any result in the demise of the kitten, the Breeder will replace the kitten upon receipt of a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian. The Health Guarantee covers:

Purchasing a kitten makes the Buyer solely responsible for the health and well-being of the kitten from the day it arrives until the last day of its life. The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary expenses, treatments, or medicines.

Buyer agrees to keep vaccinations and health checks current, provide a clean environment, never allow the cat to roam freely outdoors, never place the cat in a laboratory or pet shop, and never declaw the cat.

Purchaser will always provide a clean litter pan, fresh water, quality food, and suitable scratching posts. If the cat is found in an unsuitable environment, the Seller reserves the right to request the cat be returned at no cost to the Seller with no refund of purchase price.

Kittens may leave the nursery starting at 12 weeks old and must be picked up or delivered by their 13-week birthday. After 13 weeks, a boarding fee of $15/day applies. The maximum boarding period is 30 days. After 30 days, it will be assumed the kitten will not be going to the buyer — all monies paid will be forfeited and the kitten will no longer be available to that buyer.
